Hiring Overview Report

The Hiring Overview report gives you a bird’s-eye view of your entire recruitment activity open roles, applications, hires, rejections, and pipeline throughput all in one place.

📌 Who can access this: Users with the View Reports permission (HR Admin and HR Team Member roles by default).

Opening the Report

  1. From the left navigation, click Reports.

  2. Select Hiring Overview.

Key Metrics at a Glance

  • Open Roles - How many jobs are currently active.

  • Avg. Days Open - The average number of days open roles have been active.

  • Closed Roles - Jobs completed or closed in the selected period.

  • Avg. Time to Hire - Average days from first application to hire across closed jobs.

  • Total Applications - All applications received in the selected period.

  • Rejected Applications - Number of candidates rejected at any stage.

  • Total Hires - Candidates who reached the Hired stage.

Filtering the Report

Use the filter bar to narrow the data by:

  • Date range - Specify the period you want to analyze.

  • Department - Focus on a specific team or business unit.

  • Job - Filter to a single role.

  • Location - View data for specific office locations.

  • Owner - Filter by the recruiter responsible for the job.

Job-by-Job Breakdown

Below the summary cards, you’ll find a table breaking down each job individually, showing the same metrics per role so you can quickly spot which positions are moving fast and which need attention.

Recruitment Funnel

The funnel chart shows how many candidates passed through each pipeline stage. Use it to identify where candidates drop off — a large drop at a specific stage may signal a bottleneck in your process.

Exporting the Report

  1. Apply any filters you need.

  2. Click the Export button in the top-right corner.

  3. An Excel file will be downloaded to your device.

Tip: Export after applying filters to get a targeted data set — for example, only data for a specific department or quarter.
