Time To Hire Report

The Time to Hire report measures how long it takes to fill each role, helping you identify which positions close quickly and which ones take longer than expected.

Written by Furkan Bilgin

šŸ“Œ Who can access this: Users with the View Reports permission (HR Admin and HR Team Member roles by default).

Opening the Report

  1. From the left navigation, click Reports.

  2. Select Time to Hire.

Understanding the Two Metrics

  • Time to Hire - Days between the hired candidate’s first application date and the date they were moved to the Hired stage. This tells you how quickly candidates move through your pipeline.

  • Time to Fill - Days between the job’s publish date and the hire date. This captures the full effort including time the role was open before any strong candidate appeared.

āœ… Example: A job was published Jan 1, the hired candidate applied Jan 15, and was hired Feb 5. Time to Hire = 21 days. Time to Fill = 35 days.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does a job show 0 days for Time to Hire?

This can happen if the hire date and application date fall on the same day. The report shows a minimum of 0, so no negative values appear.

Does this report include jobs that are still open?

No. The Time to Hire report only includes roles that have been closed (a candidate reached the Hired stage). Open roles appear in the Hiring Overview report instead.

Can I export this data?
